About the Event

Join us for our 43rd Annual Fall Harvest Festival at Steppingstone Farm Museum for a day of festive, family-friendly fun. This beloved community tradition is our largest fundraiser of the year, supporting the museum’s mission as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing our rural heritage.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to relax and enjoy the day in our orchard beer garden, featuring local craft brews and live music throughout the festival. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the sights and sounds of fall at Steppingstone Farm Museum.

Get your tickets before 11pm on October 10th to lock in the early bird rate.

After that, tickets will only be available at the admissions gate for $25.

We accept both cash and card, but please bring cash if you can — some vendors may not be able to process card payments.

Children 10 and under receive free admission.

Special Guests & Activities:

We’re thrilled to welcome the Susquehanna Beekeepers, who will be joining us with a special story time presentation of “The Dog Who Saved the Bees” at 12 PM and 2 PM. Learn all about the importance of honeybees and how they help our environment!

The Deer Creek Basketry Guild will also be on-site, offering a free basket-making craft and live demonstrations of traditional basket weaving — a wonderful hands-on experience for visitors of all ages.

Pumpkin Painting – $5

Add a splash of color to your fall festivities with our Pumpkin Painting Station! Perfect for kids and adults alike, this hands-on activity lets you create your own festive masterpiece to take home. All supplies are provided — just bring your creativity and enjoy the fun at Steppingstone Farm Museum, while supplies last.

Scarecrow Making – $10

Build your very own Steppingstone Scarecrow! This family-favorite activity includes all the materials you’ll need to craft a friendly fall companion, complete with hay, clothes, and plenty of personality. Quantities are limited, so be sure to stop by early and take part in this timeless harvest season tradition.

Live Music in the Orchard:

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds of the season in our orchard beer garden. Throughout the day, local musicians will perform a mix of folk, acoustic, and classic favorites — the perfect backdrop for a fall afternoon at Steppingstone Farm Museum.
