May 4th & 5th (Saturday and Sunday)- War of 1812 in Havre de Grace and Opening Weekend 1-4pm, Admission $3.00

Visit us on Opening Weekend with Rural Arts and Crafts demonstrations and visit town for a War of 1812 battle Reenactment invading and defending Havre de Grace for the bicentennial commemoration. Steppingstone is organizing the ball Saturday night and offering the teas Sunday at the museum.


May 5th (Sunday)- A Regency Era Ladies Tea- 11am and 4pm seatings, Admission $25.00

Get into the spirit of 1812 with a Regency Ladies Tea, mingle with regency ladies and learn about manners, high society, Jane Austen, and other pastimes and intrigues of 200 years ago. Join us at the lovely Steppingstone Farm House for a Regency Tea featuring Professional Storyteller and Historic Reenactor Alisa Dupuy.

Tickets are $25, which includes your Afternoon Tea, the Performance, an exciting glimpse of the past, and a donation to the museum. Seats are limited due to the size of the historic home so we are offering 2 seatings, we will make every effort to seat groups together but tables are limited to 4-6 each so you may be seated with another party. The teas require attention for an hour and proper table manners and thus are not suitable for children under the age of 8 years. Your paypal confirmation is your receipt and places you on our seating list. We will contact you if we need clarification on your order or group size for seating purposes. Please let us know if you need special accommodations for accessibility or seating. Cancellations must be made 2 weeks before the tea for a refund unless we are able to sell your seats to someone on the waiting list. Thank you for your understanding.

Regency Tea Seats $25


May 11th and 12th (Saturday and Sunday)- Medieval Days Encampment- 11am to 4pm, Admission $5.00

This event will feature a medieval encampment with fighting and archery demonstrations; siege weapons; equestrian games; coursing of the hounds; arts and crafts; historic music and poetry; children’s crafts; food; and farm tours.


May 11th and 12th (Saturday and Sunday)- Medieval Mother's Day Tea with the Baroness- 4pm seatings, Admission $25.00

This formal tea is a lovely treat for Mom, price includes tea with modern and medieval treats, a medieval through renaissance fashion show with historic music, and your admission to the Medieval Days event beforehand.

Medieval Tea Seats $25


June 8th and 9th (Saturday and Sunday)- Celtic Festival- 11am to 4pm, Admission $5.00

Our annual celebration of Celtic Heritage, wear your green or tartan and come out to the museum for music, food, dancing and more!

Irish Step dancing by Tir na nOg and Ryan-Kilcoyne School of Irish Dance, Highland Dancing, Welsh Clogging, Sheepherding by Nancy Starkey, York Kiltie Pipe Band, Donegal X-press Celtic Rock Band, Carl Peterson Scottish Singer-Songwriter, Spinning and Weaving Demonstrations, 84th of Foot- 2nd Battalion, Scots Guards WW1 Living History, Vendors, Clans, Scottish Food by Cameron's Market and more... bring a chair or blanket and enjoy!


June 8th and 9th (Saturday and Sunday)- Celtic Traditions Tea- 4pm seatings, Admission $25.00

Enjoy an intimate tea with an exploration of Scottish and Irish Heritage and how these traditions have shaped culture stateside. A mix of storytelling, music, and discussion will bring the celtic traditions alive.

Celtic Tea Seats $25


June 15th and 16th (Saturday and Sunday)- Civil War Encampment- 11am to 4pm, Admission $5.00

The Civil War Encampment returns to Steppingstone this year to commemorate the sesquicentennial. Reenactors will display camp life in the civil war era and re-enact battle skirmishes.

Watch for more information on the Bull Roast and Barn Dance hosted by the Archer Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Saturday night of this weekend.

Discover the inner sanctum of ladies society leading up to and suring the civil war. At this tea you can mingle with civil war ladies and learn about manners, society, and hear tales of some famous women of the Civil War. Civil War Tea Seats $25


June 22nd (Saturday)- Steppingstone Summertime Blues Festival- 2pm to 8pm

Admission $20 in advance and $25 at the gate, Walk-ins are welcome!

The setting for this festival is our beautiful orchard overlooking the Susquehanna River.  Our visitors may enjoy beer, wine, and food while listening to some of the best entertainment in the area. Visit the Blues Fest link for the 2013 lineup.  This is an outdoor concert, rain or shine, with no refunds granted.  Bring a blanket or lawn chair but please do not bring in alcoholic beverages or glass containers. Remember sunscreen and your Photo ID to purchase beer or wine. Tickets will be available on the Blues Fest Page. 

Pre-sale ticket orders close at 5pm Friday, June 21st. Museum Staff are busy setting up the event so please purchase your tickets at the gate on Saturday.


Steppingstone Farm Museum is the hosting site for the new Lunar Bay Music and Arts Festival... ticket sales through their website!

June 29th & 30th- 2013 Lunar Bay Music & Arts Festival (Sat 10am-1am & Sun 10am-8pm)

Admission: $25-$95, Walk ins Welcome!

Lunar Bays mission is to offer unrefined experiences through an organic art, food and music festival; striving to create a local gathering that promotes positive energy. Please join the journey as a part of the Lunar Bay Family!

July 6th (Saturday)- Havre de Grace 4th of July Parade- Come on out to downtown Havre de Grace and see Steppingstone's Float in the parade, then join us the next day for Summer Fun Day!


July 7th (Sunday)- Summer Fun Day w/Lawnmower Races and Classy Car & Cycle Show- 11am to 4pm, Admission $5.00

This event will feature all things wheels! Enjoy a great family fun day with music; lawnmower racing; a car and motorcycle show; ice cream eating contest; face painting; kids crafts and games; food; and museum displays.  Fun for the whole family!


September 28th & 29th (Saturday and Sunday)- Fall Harvest & Craft Festival - 11am to 4pm, Admission $5.00

This event will feature activities such as craft booths; scarecrow making; pumpkin painting; apple bobbing & pressing; apple butter making; hay rides; straw maze; bluegrass music; clogging and square dancing; food; and tours. Rain or shine event. Additional fees only for items you take home (scarecrows and pumpkins).


November 16th (Saturday)- Thanksgiving Open House with Open Hearth Cooking- 1pm to 4pm, Admission $3.00

Join us for an Open House and Open Hearth Cooking Demonstration in the historic farm house featuring Colonial period recipes. The Country Store will be open for all your Christmas shopping needs. Featuring locally crafted goods and some made by museum artisans. Find a truly unique gift this year at Steppingstone!


November 17th (Sunday)- Harvest Traditions Tea- 11am and 2pm seatings Admission $25.00

As Fall starts to settle in and we get ready for Thanksgiving, join us to learn about Harvest traditions throughout history and our region. Join us at the lovely Steppingstone Farm House for a Victorian Tea featuring Professional Storyteller and Historic Reenactor Alisa Dupuy.

Tickets are $25, which includes your Afternoon Tea, the Performance, a great dose of Thanksgiving spirit, and a donation to the museum.

Harvest Tea Seats $25

TBD- Artisans Raffle at the Annual Dinner and Volunteer Recognition- 7pm

Join us for Steppingstone's Annual Dinner and Volunteer Recognition. We will have a special speaker presentation along with the fellowship of our members and volunteers. We will also hold our annual business meeting, volunteer recognitions, and the drawing for the Artisan's Raffle. See our new Artisans page introducing our artisans.


December 7th & 8th (Saturday and Sunday)- Christmas Open House- 11am to 4pm

No Admission Fee

This event will feature tours of the historic farmhouse decorated for the holidays;  Christmas music; cookies and cider; museum store open for shopping.  No admission charge for this event. The Country Store will be open for all your Christmas shopping needs. Featuring locally crafted goods and some made by museum artisans. Find a truly unique gift this year at Steppingstone!


December 7th and 8th (Saturday and Sunday)- "A Christmas Carol" Tea- 4pm seating each day, Admission $25.00

Catch the spirit of the holidays early as Dickens comes to life with "A Christmas Carol" as told by Ebenezer Scrooge's sister, Fan.
